Meet Chef Seymen Cagirgan
Food has always been my passion. Born and raised in Turkey, I grew up surrounded by the rich flavors and traditions of Turkish cuisine. My journey in the culinary world took me from working in the vibrant tourism and hospitality industry to becoming a sous chef in California, and later cooking for thousands at Google’s corporate kitchens.
But my dream has always been to bring the bold, authentic flavors of Turkish street food to the people—made fresh, made right, and with a little extra phat flavor. That’s how Phat Turk was born.
At Phat Turk, I take pride in using high-quality ingredients and traditional techniques to craft dishes like Adana kebap, islak burger, lahmacun, and more. Whether you’re craving a smoky, spicy bite of perfectly grilled kebap or a juicy, sauce-drenched islak burger, my goal is to serve food that hits the spot—every single time.
I believe in cooking with heart, feeding people with generosity, and creating an experience that brings people together. When you stop by Phat Turk, you’re not just grabbing a meal—you’re getting a taste of Turkey, a taste of my journey, and a whole lot of flavor.
